Breakfast and After School Club

Breakfast Club and After School Club is for children aged from 4 to 11 years of age, who attend our school. It operates between 7.30 a.m. and 8.40 a.m. every morning and between 3.15 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. every evening, Monday to Friday during Term Time.

Due to the increase in demand for wrap around care and some parent’s problems regarding the online booking system, we have reviewed our policy for booking places in our Breakfast and After School Clubs.

Block Bookings

• Please state whether you want
  • Breakfast Club                                            7.30am – 8.40am
  • After School Club, half session                 3.15pm – 4.30pm
  • After School Club, full session                  3.15pm – 6pm
• Please state the day/s you want to block book, explaining whether the block booking is to the end of the half term, term or academic year.
• Please note that you will be charged for the place if your child does not attend (eg. due to a class trip, attending a performance/sporting event, family holiday - exception for absence due to illness) and you have not informed the school office before 2 pm the Friday before.

Weekly Bookings and Day/s Bookings

• Please call school before 2 pm on Friday for bookings for the following week

• Please note you will be charged for the place if you child does not attend (expectation due to illness)

Registers for attendance for the following week will be printed out at 3 pm every Friday and these cannot be amended during the week unless in an emergency. Whilst we want to offer flexibility to families, school needs to be able to plan ahead as we are their commitment to safeguarding standards maintaining the correct staffing ratios.

Please note

• The number of places per session is capped, and once a session is full we can not accept any more children
• If a half session has been booked and collection is after 4.30pm, a full session fee will be charged
• Late pick up after 6pm will incur a fine of £5 per 15 mins late.
• Wrap around care staff are not permitted to share any information about other children or events during the school day. If you have any concerns or messages please inform your child’s class teacher or the school office.
