Our new Headteacher will be inspiring, motivational, approachable and be able to demonstrate academic strength, whilst ensuring that all children feel cared for, supported, and nurtured.

Lady Elizabeth Hastings Church of England (VA) Primary School has a vibrant atmosphere where our children thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are an inclusive school and work hard to ensure each child is continually inspired, nurtured and challenged to develop a lifelong love of learning alongside relationship, action and moral virtues for today and their future.

We are looking for a strong leader who will have a passion for the school and will recognise the important interplay between community, church, school, and positive outcomes for children.  We want you to build on the success of our school, understanding that we offer each child a safe, caring environment where they can flourish emotionally, intellectually, morally, physically, socially and spiritually.

  • Energetic and creative to drive evidence-based learning innovation - recognising and maintaining existing practices that are working effectively, whilst showing a healthy appetite for change where appropriate
  • Nurturing whilst setting high expectations, creating a positive culture for the holistic development of all children

In return we can offer you:

  • A warm, friendly and welcoming school which is central within our community
  • Happy, well behaved, and motivated pupils who are kind and caring
  • An effective, committed, and driven team
