We have a calendar of regular activities that help us to raise funds to provide ‘extras’ not already provided by the school's main income – often 'fun things' that make learning more interesting and exciting.

How is money raised?

 We raise money through the following events;-

Termly Film Nights for all children

Termly Discos for all children,

A Christmas Fair in the winter.

Selling Christmas cards, gifts and crafts designed by the children

A Sponsored Fitness event in the spring

A Summer Fair in the final half term.

We are always looking for new fundraising ideas!

How is money spent?

The Pupil Council and the Headteacher decide how to spend funds raised. Common items include computers, playground equipment, sports kits and smaller purchases such as presents for Father Christmas to distribute, or lighting, stage and sound equipment for school concerts and performances. Recently the funds raised by parents have enabled us to purchase new CTOUCH screens for the school and supplement the cost of a whole Key Stage 2 visit to Leeds Playhouse to see a production of The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe and a KS1 Trip to Sundown Adventure Park in Nottinghamshire.

How can I be involved in L.E.A.P?

There are many different ways you can help with L.E.A.P whether you have lots of time to offer or not.

Some of the roles are time-consuming, although also rewarding. If you can’t commit to a big job, look out for things you can do less frequently (e.g. running a stall at the Christmas/ Summer Fair, baking for a cake sale, purchasing refreshments from the wholeseller, wrapping gifts, donating quality items for our Raffle and putting up bunting and decorations for our celebration events). And you can always support fundraising events by simply turning up.
