Outdoor Learning for every child
We have committed to enabling every child to have the opportunity to learn in the outdoors, not just for PE and Forest School lessons but by taking the classroom learning outdoors. Each week we ensure that at least one other lesson or part of a lesson takes place using the outdoors.
Great examples this year have included a science lesson in Year 1/2 looking for living things in the field and an RE lesson in Year 5/6 learning about The Creation Story, debating the story and how God made the earth, sun and sky .
