Safeguarding
All staff at Lady Elizabeth Hastings CofE Primary School school are committed to ensure safeguarding of ALL children is paramount during school closure.
This will be adhered to, where ever possible, using the following procedures:
- All children to have contact with a member of staff at least once a week via seesaw and/or phone call.
- Where possible, home teaching and learning will continue, see daily tasks set via seesaw and activity resources on the school website.
- All vulnerable families, already identified through a RAG rated system, have
additional contact and support.- These children have all been offered school places during the closure.
- Support to include help and advice with food, finances, behaviour, medical etc.
- In addition to support provided by Brigshaw Guidance and Targeted Support
- Additional weekly phone calls will be carried out by our safeguarding team, pastoral
team and /or SEND team.
- Emergency numbers of key school staff have been given to any vulnerable families
who may require further support. - Key staff will continue to work alongside and liaise with external services throughout
the closure. - Cpoms , our online recording system, will continue to be used by staff to record and
report concerns. This will continue to be monitored daily by the safeguarding team. - The contact details of all pupils will be accessible through private, password protected
documents. - It is essential that contact is maintained between staff. Always seek advice if concerns are
